4 year old girl among new 9 victims

Bandipora, April 13 : North Kashmir’s Bandipora district is likely to be known as epic centre of deadly virus COVID-19 in Kashmir region.
With the new 9 fresh cases reported positive for COVID-19 on Monday taking the toll 50 and witnessed a death of one infected patient as well in the district so far.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said, among nine who became fresh victim of COVID-19 virus in the Bandipora district, a four year old baby girl including her mother has been reported positive as well.
A health official told Kashmir Despatch, 8 out of 9 belongs to Gundjehangir and one is from Naidkhai, the outskirts of Bandipora District.
A health official further said these COVID-19 victims have physical contact history with deceased COVID-19 victim in the district.
Pertinently, Bandipora district have seen 51 cases including one death so far and the total toll of Jammu and Kashmir jumps to 270 including 4 deaths.
