Baramulla police on Friday said that it registered 8 cases for those who violated lockdown orders in the town.
In a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch police said while enforcing the lockdown in the district and implementing the orders thereof, Baramulla Police registered 8 cases against shopkeepers/ riders for violating instructions & running their businesses unnecessarily and beyond timings allowed; further some vehicles were moving on roads without valid justification / cause / pass.
Baramulla Police requests general populace of district Baramulla to stay inside as far as possible, and venture out only in case of emergent situation. Helpline numbers of District Police Baramulla have been circulated in media for any help/ queries.
