SRINAGAR, Aug 11: General secretary and incharge Kashmir division of Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Sunil Sharma on Thursday said Abdullahs and Muftis stand nowhere in Kashmir politics now.
He said that Mehbooba Mufti never wanted development for the people of Jammu and Kashmir and was not supporting employment avenues either here. “She is always trying to create issues that get her space in the media,” he said.
“Instead of celebrating 75 Independence Day, she always raises issues that have no purpose. She never spoke of development and employment for the people of Kashmir,” the senior BJP leader said.
He also said that the BJP party is fully prepared for the elections in Jammu and Kashmir and is confident that his party will defeat the National Conference in the upcoming elections. ” Omar Abdullah has weavering stand..earlier he was saying he won’t fight elections till statehood is not restored.Now he has no issues with that,” he said.
“Leaders who solve people’s problems should be valued,” he added. (KNS)
