Baramulla, Jan 16 : The General Officer Commanding of the 15 Corps, Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai on Tuesday said that there is a bright future ahead for the youth in Kashmir.
Speaking to media on the sidelines of a function in Baramulla as per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, the top army officer stated that while there is still some distance to go, the situation is good and progress is being made.
General Ghai emphasized the army’s commitment to working with the state administration and Jammu and Kashmir to combat terrorism in the region.
He also expressed pride in the naming of a stadium after Major General Bipin Rawat, stating that it was a significant moment for both the country and the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
General Ghai assured that efforts would be ongoing to provide further facilities for the stadium.
In a message to the youth, he urged them to look ahead to a bright future, stating that Kashmir is progressing and better days are on the horizon.
