Baramulla, Jan 16 : Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, on Tuesday stated that It will be very difficult to run power projects in the near future if the valley doesn’t receive snowfall.

During his visit to Baramulla in north Kashmir, as per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, the LG addressed a gathering and expressed his concerns about the impact of a lack of snowfall on power projects.

He further stated, “I pray to God that it snows here, otherwise, it will affect the power projects in the future if the same dry situation persists.”

As part of his visit, the LG officially inaugurated the recently renamed General Bipin Rawat sports stadium in Baramulla.

Earlier this month, an official order was issued, renaming the Jehlum stadium as the General Bipin Rawat Stadium.
