CEC inaugurates newly upgraded Higher Secondary School at Biama Purtickchay
KARGIL : Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan in presence of the Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Baseer ul Haq Choudhary inaugurated the newly upgraded Higher Secondary School at Biama Purtickchay here on Thursday.
SSP Kargil Dr Vinod Kumar, Sub Divisonal Magistrate Sankoo Ghulam Mohiuddin Wani, Councillor Tai Suru Aga Syed Abbass Razvi, Chief Education Officer Kargil Nazir Ahmad Wani, other concerned officers, prominent persons of the area besides teachers, parents and students were present on the occasion.
CEC Khan in his address while congratulating the parents and students of Purtickchay and adjoining villages for up gradation of the school to higher secondary level said that with this the students will have access to higher secondary education at their doorsteps.
Highlighting the immense importance of education in bringing positive tendencies and overall development of the society, the CEC urged the parents, teachers, students and community members to make collective efforts to ensure the impart of quality education. He assured of extending all out support towards the augmentation of required infrastructure for the school.
Deputy Commissioner Kargil Baseer ul Haq Choudhary who also spoke on the occasion advised parents and community members to make concerted efforts to imbibe necessary moral and social values among the younger generation apart from studies so that they emerge as morally able and responsive citizens of tomorrow.
Later, Councillor Tai Suru Aga Syed Abbass Razvi provided one computer set with printer to the newly upgraded Higher Secondary School at Biama Purtikchay besides one generator set each to Government Girls High School Panikhar and Government High School Kargee out of his CDF. He also provided one generator set each to village Panikhar and Prantee besides one shamiyana set to village Panikhar out of his CDF.
