According to wire service—in view of this most of the students in various exam centres couldn’t write their paper completely citing that they couldn’t attempt all the questions asked in the paper. “The pattern was completely different and the questions were out of syllabus as well. We were shocked to see such questions in the paper,” a group of class 11th students alleged.

Also, the examination staff in some exam centres also flanked the student claim saying that the pattern and type of questions asked in the paper were out of context. “We saw students in utter frustration as they couldn’t comprehend the questions,” a teacher who was on an exam duty at Kupwara district, said.

He said they called the available Chemistry lecturer as the higher secondary principal of the exam centres who also supported the student. “The student claims are justified and officials in JK board should think over it,” the teacher said. The students also accused the BOSE authorities for subjecting them to mental trauma and demanded that the exam of their Chemistry paper should be conducted once again so that students can write the paper properly.
