Srinagar: A prominent religious cleric, Mufti Nazir Ahmad Qasmi, on Wednesday appealed to parents to come forward and take care of their children for their bright careers and bright future.
Addressing a gathering in a seminar on “Istiqbal-e-Ramadhan” at Mirwaiz Manzil Rajouri Kadal, Srinagar, as per the Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, Mufti Nazir Qasmi appealed to parents to take care of their children and play their role in protecting them.
He said parents are in a race to send their children to the best colleges and schools for quality education, but unfortunately nobody bothers to check if their children know the Kalima. He said the youth have not been made aware of the teachings of Islam, especially their behaviour with elders, parents, and others. Keeping the youngsters away from Islamic teachings is the outcome of the rise in violent crimes in Kashmir, he said.
Mufti Nazir Ahmad Qasmi said parents should be serious and careful about their daughters also where they are going. whom they are meeting? even though where they are spending nights?
