JAMMU, Aug 27: BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today said that the Congress was a sinking ship and people like Farooq Abdullah are trying to speed it up.
Chugh ridiculed Farooq Abdullah for holding the BJP responsible for Ghulam Nabi’s resignation from the Congress and said that it was Congress’s internal matter, but nobody can deny that India is heading towards Congress-free India.
“In J&K there has been a dangerous combination of Abdullahs, Muftis and Congress, which people have decisively rejected,” he said. Chugh said J&K is entering a new chapter of peace, growth and development under prime minister Narendra Modi. “It’s time Abdullahs and Muftis learn their lessons.” (KNS)
