Congress holds Convention in Sopore

Congress Party held its convention in Sopore at the residence of former MLA and senior Congress leader Haji Abdul Rashid Dar.

As per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, the purpose of this convention was to bring together party members, workers, and leaders to discuss and strategize on key political issues.

This convention provided a platform for attendees to engage in thoughtful discussions, share their perspectives, and shape the future actions of the party.

The discussions at the convention likely covered a wide range of topics, including regional concerns and national policies, highlighting the party’s dedication to addressing diverse challenges.

This convention not only emphasizes the Congress Party’s commitment to a democratic approach, but also highlights the significance of such gatherings in promoting unity and facilitating effective decision-making within political organizations.

Furthermore, various senior leaders shared the stage with Rajini Patel, the in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir and Member of Parliament. Newly selected CWC Members Ghulam Ahmad Mir and Tariq Hameed Karra, President JKPCC Vikar Rasool Wani, working president Raman Bhalla, in-charge Secretary JKPCC Manoj Yadav, general secretary Surinder Singh, and other leaders were also present.

The Indian National Congress, both at the national level and in Jammu and Kashmir, plays a vital role in the political landscape. The presence of leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra adds further significance to the convention, showcasing the party’s dedication to its principles and objectives.
