Cop Tests postive : Two doctors among 24 traced in Sheeri Belt

Baramulla,April 22 : As COVID-19 is heading forward and adding more fuel by contaminating many people across northern region of Kashmir, administration in Baramulla tracked down the physical contacts of the cop who earlier this week was diagnosed positive for this deadly virus.

An official told Kashmir Despatch, that two doctors among 24 people have been traced down so far who had came in close contact with the cop, officer said out of this number many were sent for Isolation while others have been kept under quarantine.

A health official also confirmed to this newspaper and shared more details as saying that two doctors and two health workers are also among the 24 traced persons. The doctor said that we will keep monitering and will track down the other suspects if found.

With the rapid growth of COVID-19 positive cases across northern Kashmir the toll rises to 176, in which Bandipora is leading with 97.
