DM recommends FIR against the ‘delinquent’ official

Pulwama, March 21 : District Magistrate Pulwama Dr Raghav Langer today ordered the suspension of Functional Manager DIC Pulwama for not complying to the directions of District Magistrate regarding mitigation measures ordered to check spread of coronavirus infection and has been attached with the office of ACR/ADM Pulwama.

DM instructed enquiry officer to present chargesheet to the delinquent official immediately as part of the disciplinary action besides making a recommendation for lodging of FIR against the concerned for violation of Sec 188 IPC and Sec 51-56 of the Disaster Management Act,” an official of the administration told news agency.

DIC Pulwama was also issued a showcause notice for showing laxity to the orders issued by the DM under Disaster Management Act. (GNS)
