Bandipora Police organizes awareness programme
March 14: Police in Handwara and Sopore distributed awareness pamphlets among the general public in district Handwara & Sopore. Besides, an awareness programme was organized by Bandipora Police at District Police Lines Bandipora.
The pamphlets containing important information / DOs and DON’Ts regarding prevention and management of Coronavirus (Covid-19) were distributed among general public through concerned SHOs of Police Stations and In-charge Police Posts.
Besides, Bandipora police in association with Health department organised an awareness programme on taking precautionary measures from Coronavirus at DPL Bandipora.
The programme was attended by officers & jawans of Bandipora Police and experts from Health Department. The experts highlighted the necessary precautions required to be taken to protect from the virus.
Speaking on the occasion, CMO Bandipora emphasised the participants to follow all precautionary measures especially to maintain good personal hygiene to protect themselves from COVID-19. Senior officers of police also advised the participants to adhere DOs & DON’Ts issued by health experts regarding Coranavirus.
IGP Kashmir Shri Vijay Kumar-IPS has instructed police formations to organize regular awareness programmes on prevention and management of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
