Kupwara, Apr 09 : The total number of Covid positive cases in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district has have gone up to 8 now after, a boy from Shahwali Muqam village was tested positive on Thursday.
According to wire service—a boy from Andherhama village, who was under quarantine, tested positive for Covid-19.
An official said that the boy who was tested positive today was already put under administrative quarantine after his arrival from Delhi.
Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ansul Garg told news agency that a boy from Shawali Muqam under quarantine in Kupwara has tested positive today.
He said that the boy had travel history of Nizamuddin in Delhi but he the patient is asymptomatic and was doing fine.
With this positive case the total toll number of active cases in the district has mounted to 8 now.
Meanwhile, DC Kupwara also informed that Anderhama village has been declared as red zone—(KNO)
