COVID-19 : Over 300 more tests negative in Border town

Baramulla, May 22 : As many as 300 persons including Barbers, Bakers, Nanvayes, Butchers, Chemists, Vegetable/Fruit/ sellers and milkmen on Friday tested negative for this deadly virus.

A health official sharing details with Kashmir Despatch, said that 313 samples which were taken from SDH Uri for COVID-19 last week and today reports of all turned negative.

The official said medical test for these persons including travelers and pregnant women in border town Uri were conducted on the instructions of DC Baramulla.

Sub District Magistrate Uri Reyaz Ahamd also confirmed to this newspaper and said No doubts it is a good news for whole Uri sector as all 313 tests were done & all reports for COVID-19 were resulted negative, he said it’s a eid gift for the people of this town.
