Rajouri, May 22 : An old rusted shell was recovered in an agriculture field in Nonial village of Rajouri’s Nowshera on Friday evening.
News agency KNO reported, that a farmer was ploughing a piece of Agriculture land in Nonial village when he saw a suspicious object lying under the soil following which police was informed and a team from Nowshera Police Station rushed to the spot and found an explosive shell.
“Army’s bomb disposal squad was called who later destroyed the shell on the spot,” officials said.
They said that explosion due to shell at the time of ploughing could have led to a major loss of life and property.
