COVID-19 Restrictions in Kupwara extended till August 17

Kupwara, August 10: The administration in Kupwara has extened Covid-19 lockdown till August 17.

In an order copy which lies with Kashmir Despatch reads, Whereas, in view of spike in positive cases in the District Kupwara in recent times, restrictions were imposed in the district from 04-08-2020 vide this office order No. DCK/PS/2020/04/2160-69 Dated:- 04-08-2020.

Whereas, the overall COVID scenario has been reviewed in consultation with Health Department and in exercise of Powers conferred under Sec. 144 CrPc and Section 34 of Disaster Management Act, the restrictions imposed vide the aforesaid Order Dated:-04-08-2020 shall remain to be in force till 17-08-2020 or unless modified earlier.
