COVID-19 : South Kashmir woman dies, toll 52

Srinagar, June 11 : Another death recorded due to COVID-19 in Kashmir on Thursday morning officials said.

A health official told Kashmir Despatch a 62 year old woman of south Kashmir died of cardiopulmonary arrest. He said Patient was admitted on 07/06 20 in ward as a case of acute calcular cholecystitis with hepatic flexural growth (CA Colon). He said Sample was taken on the same day and came out positive following which patient was shifted to infectious disease ward on 08/06/20.

With this fresh death the toll due to this virus rises to 52 in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
