Cross border shelling in Uri, Gurez, Tangdar

Srinagar, Nov 13 : The armies of India and Pakistan on Friday exchanged gunfire along the line of control in parts of north Kashmir.

An official told Kashmir Despatch that cross border shelling reported along the line of control in Gurez in Bandipora district, Uri in Baramulla district and Tangdar in Kupwara district.

He said no loss of life or any Injury was reported in the shelling.

An army officer told Kashmir Despatch that firing by Pakistani side from across the border in north Kashmir was today afternoon.
However there was no immediate report of any casualty officials added.

Meanwhile the exchange of fire between the two sides was going on when last reports came in.
