Cross Border Shelling Internet suspended in Kupwara

Kupwara, Nov 13 : Amid cross border shelling in north Kashmir, authorities suspended mobile internet services in Kupwara district this afternoon.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said panic gripped in parts of Kupwara after india and Pakistan armies exchanged gunfire.

The heavy shelling created fear among the residents along the line of control LOC in Kupwara and forced them to shift to safer places reports added.

Sources informed this newspaper that mobile internet services has been suspended in parts of Kupwara as a precautionary measure, however police denied to comment on it.

SSP Kupwara Shriram Ambaikar when contacted told Kashmir Despatch that he is not aware about the suspension of mobile internet services in the area.
