National General Secretary of J&K Students Association Danish Lone here on today extended greetings of Eid-ul-Azha to the people, praying for the peace and tranquillity of the State.
Urging the people to celebrate Eid with simplicity, Lone said that Allah commands us to be not amongst those who indulge in extravagance, which he dislikes. He wished the people peace, progress, prosperity and happiness and hoped that this occasion would be a harbinger of communal harmony, brotherhood and amity.
Lone underlined the need of remembering economically downtrodden and underprivileged people in the J&K UT on the occasion. He said celebrating Eid teaches us friendship, mutual respect and love for the masses. He appealed people to remember their neighbours, orphans and the needy during Eid celebrations.
