Day-long search operation underway in Sopore village

Sopore, Sep 30 : Security forces launched a cordon and search operation underway in northern region of Kashmir.
Sources informed Kashmir Despatch that a cordon and search operation was launched earleir in the day in Amarpura area of Tarzoo in north Kashmir’s Sopore town.
Sources said a team of Army’s 52 RR, SOG and CRPF sealed the area and conducted house to house searches in the area which is still underway.
A police officer told this newspaper that following inputs about the suspecious movement search operation was launched. The officer however, added that no contact with militants has been established.
