DIG NKR chairs a crime review meeting of Kupwara Police

December 20: The DIG NKR Baramulla Shri M. Sulaiman Chowdary-IPS held a crime review meeting of District Police Kupwara at DPO Kupwara. SSP Kupwara Shri Shriram Ambarkar-IPS, ASP Kupwara, DySP (DAR) Kupwara and all supervisory officers of Kupwara participated in the meeting.

DIG NKR Baramulla held a thorough discussion regarding working of Kupwara Police an all fronts including Investigation, prosecution, Crime, Disposal of Complaints, L&O and other issues related to policing.

DIG NKR stressed on the synergy and better coordination among different units of Police for better results. He also stressed upon the officers not to compromise with the quality of investigation and directed the officers to have effective supervision of the matters dealt by police in their jurisdictional areas. He also appreciated the working of Kupwara Police on various front and emphasized on the officers to have deep concern for welfare of the jawans and general public as a whole.

Later DIG NKR Baramulla visited DPL Kupwara and held interaction with the officers and jawans. While interacting with the jawans DIG NKR highlighted various welfare initiatives taken by the department. He stressed on the officials to prioritise the grievance redressal.

 SSP Kupwara, ASP Kupwara DySP Hqrs, DySP DAR Kupwara and other officers were also present on the occasion.
