Driver who escaped after killed two women in Rafiabad arrested

Rafiabad, Sep 23 : Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a driver of Tivera who fled from the spot on Tuesday evening after killed two women in Rafiabad area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

An official told Kashmir Despatch that within 24 hours police team arrested the fled driver. The officer said vehicle has also been siezed.

The officer further added that a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been initiated.

As reported by Kashmir Despatch two women who were walking on road were hit by speedy four wheeler vehicle at Lasser crossing in Rafiabad on Tuesday evening.

The driver fled from the spot after the incident.

Both deceased women were identified as Saleema wife of Bashir Ahmad Mir of Wagay Mohalla Hadipora and Fatima wife of Mohammad Yousuf Mir of Wagay Mohalla Hadipora.
