Drug peddler Arrested in Kralpora

Kupwara, Aug 27: In a bid to curb drug menace in community and to tightened it’s noose on drug peddlers,Police in Kralpora Kupwara on Saturday said to have apprehended a drug peddler with contraband (Charas) like substance from his possession.

A team of police headed by Station House Officer Kralpora Waseem Ahmad apprehended a drug peddler at Khazan matti naka in which charas like substance was recovered from his possession.

“On receipt of specific information,the Kralpora police team swiftly swung into action and successfully arrested a drug peddler namely Dilshad Malik.

The case has been registered and FIR was registered against the accused for due proceedings.
