Sopore: Police on Thursday slapped Public Safety Act (PSA) against an alleged drug peddler in the north Kashmir’s Sopore town.
Third time in 21 days, Sopore police have recommended another name for action under the Public Safety Act for the involvement of supplying narcotic drugs to youth of the Sopore.
Station Hosue officer Sopore Azim Iqbal confirming this development to Kashmir Despatch and said today one more notorious drug peddler identified as Tanveer Hassan son of Ghulam Hassan of Reban Sopore has been booked under Public Safety Act (PSA).
Officer said earlier seized a huge quantity of narcotic drugs from his possession.
Last month Sopore Police booked two drug peddlers under Public Safety Act (PSA) whom a case stands registered in Police Station Sopore with FIR No. 131/2019 8/22 NDPS Act.
