Bandipora, Sep 03: Former Zonal president Peoples democratic party Shareef-ud-din Shah on Tuesday formally joined hands with Usman Majid Ex MLA and former minister Bandipora after resigning from PDP’s basic membership last week.
Addressing the media Usman Majid welcomed him in the party and hoped he will make the party strong at the ground level.
He was formally welcomed by Usman Majid at his office in Bandipora in presence of several workers and DDC Firdousa Akhter.
“After a lot of discussions I decided to join him as he is the only candidate from Bandipora who will represent the peoples of Bandipora best,” Shareef -ud-din Shah said.
He pledged to support him on ground and hoped he would resolve the genuine grievances of people.
Pertinent to mention that Shareef-ud-din wah last week resigned from PDP over ticket issue after party gave mandate to Syed Tajamul from Bandipora alleging that party had not done any justice with party workers.
