Srinagar, Oct 30: National conference president on Friday was stopped from offering prayers at Dargah Hazratbal shrine in Srinagar on the occasion of Eid-i-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).
In a tweet JKNC said, J&K administration has blocked the residence of Party President Dr Farooq Abdullah and stopped him from offering prayers at Dargah Hazratbal. JKNC condemns this infringement of fundamental right to pray, especially on the auspicious occasion of Milad Un Nabi SAW.
Pertinently, on Thursday Former chief minister and National Conference (NC) vice president, Omar Abdullah said that “Centre wants to snatch our land. Do they expect us to remain silent? How we will face our future generation for whom we only leave a piece of land and nothing else.”
“Lanath ho ham pay agar in halaath mein ham iktidaar ki kursi kay peechey bhagien. Log hamien maaf nahi kariegin agar hamari nazar secretariat ya kursi pay rahi. Hamari ladai hamari pehchaan kay liye hai,” Omar Abdullah said while addressing a party function.
