Fire damages school building in Baramulla village

Srinagar, March 17: A middle school building was partially damaged in a fire mishap at Nowpora village in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday evening.

Reports reaching said, a massive fire broke out around 6 PM this evening in government middle school building in Nowpora Jagir village triggering panic in the locality.

The school building was damaged partially in the fire mishap, however, the adjacent buildings remained safe due to efforts of locals and the personnel of the Fire and Emergency services, reports added.

Meanwhile, a police official said that the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
