Baramulla : Forces on Saturday evening launched a cordon and search operation in North Kashmir’s Baramulla town after some gunshots rocked in the area.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said that a joint team of forces including army, police and CRPF sealed fish market area in Baramulla town after few gunshots rocked the area this evening.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that no loss of life or injury was reported in the attack , he said that area has been cordoned off and search operation is underway.
Unconfirmed reports reaching Kashmir Despatchsaid that suspected militants attacked a shopkeeper in the market however police denied and termed it baseless.
