Anantnag, Nov 30: Union Minister and BJP leader Dr Jitendra Singh on Monday said that first six months after the abrogation of Article 370 have been most peaceful period since last thirty years in Jammu and Kashmir.
As per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, Dr Jintendra while addressing a rally in South Kashmiri’s Anantnag district said, “If you look at how things evolved across Jammu and Kashmir after abrogation of Article 370, one will find things turned out peaceful”.
He added, “So many festivals were celebrated after abrogation of Article 370 and everyone of them including Depawali and Eid. Every festival was celebrated peacefully, unlike what we have seen in 30 years that some violent incidents would take place during festivals, however, that didn’t happened since abrogation of Article 370”.
“Every citizen of Jammu and Kashmir want to make sure that he is not deprived of basic rights that a common Indian is enjoying across the country. Moreover, youth also want to lead however they are scared and once those curtains of fearfulness are removed, those youth will be our power and will lead Jammu and Kashmir”.
