Five shops gutted in Sopore fire mishap

Sopore, April 24 : Five shops were gutted when a fire broke out today at Iqbal market in Sopore town of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The blaze occurred on early Wednesday in three storey shoping Complex at Iqbal market in the town, following which fire service team were rushed to fight the flames, an official in fire service department Sopore told Kashmir Despatch.

The fire was brought under control with the efforts of team ,however the cause of fire was not immediately known official added.

The officer further said that in the mishap two shops on ground floor, 2 shops on 1st floor and one shop on 2nd floor of the 3 storey building were gutted.

However, there were no casualties in the mishap.
