Sopore, June 15 : Government forces on Monday evening launched a cordon and search operation in north Kashmir’s Sopore village.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a mixture of forces conducted searches in Gonipora Sopore late this evening and sealed all entry and exit points in the area.
A police officer said following inputs about the presence of militants a joint team of Army’s 22 RR, Sopore Police and 92 BN CRPF launched search operation. He said searches are underway in the area.
