Ghulam Hassan Mir welcomes the new entrant into party fold

SRINAGAR, November 6:  A prominent social activist and former police officer Irshad Ahmad Jan from Safapore district Ganderbal on Friday joined Apni Party.

Mr. Jan was welcomed by Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir, State Secretary Muntazir Mohi-ud-Din, District President Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh and Party Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi at the party office in Lal Chowk, Srinagar.

Speaking on this occasion Mr. Jan observed that the vision and pragmatic agenda of Apni Party convinced him to join the Party and use this political platform for the welfare of people on grass roots level.

He said that the performance of Apni Party leadership especially its President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari during his stint in the previous the elected government has left indelible marks on the minds of socio-political activists who aspire to dedicate themselves to the empowerment of common people.

Mr. Jan pledged to put into his efforts to strengthen the party on the ground and further its socio-economic and political activities so as to address the sufferings of the people in his area.

Addressing the ceremony, Ghulam Hassan Mir, Sr. Vice President of the party said that with the joining of Mr. Jan, the party cadre in the district, Ganderbal  will get a boost that will result in the mitigation of miseries of the people and will also pave a way for the holistic development  in Ganderbal district.
