Fumigation Drive Intensified in Pulwama Red Zones

Pulwama Apr 01: The District administration Pulwama has intensified sterilization drive in the recently declared red zones in Pulwama and Rajpora blocks of the District, after following the detection of COVID-19 positive cases so to stop the further spread of conornovirus.

The officials from District administration and its nodal officers of various departments including Municipality and police have properly supervised the drive of fumigation, in collaboration with Municipal Committee Pulwama under the proper protocol.

An official handout told Kashmir Despatch that the administration has deputed a special squad along with the medical team to fumigate the area, and it has also been directed to officials to have an eagles eye on restrictions imposed in these red zone areas.

While talking to Kashmir Despatch, the Executive officer Municipal Committee Pulwama Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed told this correspondent that” We have fumigated the red zone areas, and we properly in contact with District administration and police for any kind of assistance, as I have put my all Official staff on duty, so that people may not face any kind of inconvenience” he told Kashmir Despatch.

Meanwhile, the Assistant Deputy Commissioner Pulwama told this Correspondent that “The fumigation has been done in red zone areas, our department is monitoring the situation on all fronts, to facilitate the people of the area on first hand. However, the officer told this Correspondent that our administration has again appealed locals of the District to cooperate with the Administration as they have cooperated from the beginning, to facilitate the General public on every front of need.
