Ganderbal, July 4: As part of its ongoing efforts to safeguard public lives, Ganderbal Police on Saturday continued its public awareness campaign, urging people, particularly youngsters, to refrain from bathing in the Nallah Sindh and avoid taking selfies or photographs near its banks.
During the drive, the DySP Headquarters Ganderbal, accompanied by the SHO Ganderbal, personally made public announcements at various locations, appealing to residents and visitors to stay away from dangerous spots along the river and cooperate with the authorities in the interest of their own safety.
Police emphasized that such precautions are necessary to prevent accidents, especially during the summer season when large numbers of people visit the riverbanks.
The public has been urged to follow safety advisories and avoid unnecessary risks while visiting water bodies.
