Srinagar, Jun 21 : Lieutenant General AJS Aujla, GOC, Chinar Corps on Tuesday visited Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat Camp at Rangreth Srinagar.
He was received by Maj Gen Tejinder Kumar MP, ADG, NCC Directorate Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh. The General Officer was presented a ceremonial Guard of Honour by the NCC cadets from JK&L Directorate, a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch reads.
Thereafter he was given a brief roundup of the various event and activities undertaken during the camp by Brig KS Kalsi, Group Commander Srinagar. The Corps Cdr addressed the cadets & motivated them to become better citizens of the nation.
He further added that NCC cadets were the true guardians of the NCC motto “Unity and Discipline.
He urged the cadets to be the torch bearers of the “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat” mission launched the government and wished them a wonderful stay at Srinagar. He also witnessed a cultural extravaganza from two regions of the country.
