Srinagar : A militant hideout was busted by police along with security forces in Rafiabad area of north Kashmir’s Sopore town in district Baramulla.
The hideout was found on Saturday in the jungle area of Rohama in Sopore sub-district, Superintendent of Police Javed Iqbal told Kashmir Despatch. The police have registered a case and launched an investigation following the recovery of gas and other daily essential things.
The hideout was busted during the search of the jungle area in a joint operation by Army’s 32 RR, police’s Special Operation Group based in Rafiabad.
Pertainally , This is second time within a week forces busted hideout in Rafiabad belt, earlier a hideout was in Dangiwacha village in which two AK series assault rifles and nearly 2,000 AK, a satellite phone and as two wireless communication devices were found.
