Sopore, Sep 02: Police on Friday claimed to have arrested a hybrid terrorist of Lashkar-i-Toiba in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A police spokesman said that a joint team of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Army’s 22 RR and CRPF 179 BN during a Naka arrested an active hybrid terrorist Saqib Shakeel Dar son of Shakeel Ahmad Dar of Mumkak Batpora A/P Checki Brath at Shangergund in the Jurisdiction of Police Station Sopore.
He said, that they recovered Incriminating material including 01 pistol, 01 magazine and 08 pistol rounds were recovered from his possession.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Sopore and further investigation is going on, he added.
