IED detected, destroyed in Poonch village

Poonch, Oct 21 : An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted in a village of Poonch’s Surankote sub division was destroyed by security forces on Thursday.

As per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the IED was recovered during a search operation in Rattan Pir dhok of Surankote sub division of Poonch district.

Officials said that IED was recovered and later destroyed by forces by special squad of army.

They said that Army and police are continuing searches in the area—(KNO)
