IGP Kashmir extends Eid greetings, urges people to follow Covid SOPs strictly

Srinagar, July 18: The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Vijay Kumar (IPS) Tuesday greeted people on Eid-ul-Adha and said that people must follow government SOPs instructions on occasion and avoid Covid-19 threats.

IGP Kashmir greeted the people of Kashmir on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha and said that people should adhere to covid SOP’s and guidelines strictly and should avoid unnecessary gatherings during the Eid festival. 

He said that Masjids where large gatherings are possible have been restricted completely for prayers while as in rural areas where usually less number of people offer Eid prayers can gather up to 25.

“wearing of the mask not only protects you but also save other people from the deadly virus, “he concluded. (KNS).
