In an electrifying T20 showdown at the historic Bakshi Stadium, Income Tax XI produced a commanding all-round performance to defeat CA XI, successfully overhauling a stiff target of 196 runs with an over still remaining.
Opting to bat first, CA XI put up a competitive total of 195, largely riding on a magnificent century by CA Aqib. His fluent and composed knock held the innings together, allowing his side to build a solid platform. However, just as CA XI looked set for an explosive finish, the disciplined bowling attack of Income Tax XI applied the brakes.
