BJP leader, his father, and brother who were injured in a militant attack in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district this evening succumbed to their injuries on way to Srinagar hospital.
An official confirmed to Kashmir Despatch that all the three family members succumbed to their injuries.
As reported this newspaper “Militants fired at Shiekh Waseem, his father Bashir Ahmad and his brother Umar Shiekh outside their house at Muslimabad near Bandipora police station, injuring them severely.
All the trio were shifted to a nearby health center from where they have been referred by doctors to Srinagar hospital.
Meanwhile, police sealed the area to nab the attackers.
