
Casualties in border shelling across JK rises to 9

Uri, Nov 13 : One more civilian who was injured in cross border shelling in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district succumbed to his taking the toll of casualities to 9 across Jammu and Kashmir.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that a civilian identified as Nadir Hussain of Kamalkote succumbed to his injures this evening at a local hospital.
He said with this the toll of casualities in cross border shelling rose to 6 Including two soldiers in Uri sector.
The officer said earleir a BSF was killed in Pak shelling in Handwara while two army soldiers lost their lives in Gurez sector.
Meanwhile, as many as civilians were injured in border shelling across the line of control in Jammu Divison, Gurez , Uri and Handwara.
