JD Funds reviews functioning of District Fund Offices in Baramulla, Bandipora

Bandipora, November 24: Joint Director Funds (Kashmir) Naila Zahoor Chib on Thursday visited Bandipora and Baramulla districts to review the functioning of District Fund offices of these district.

She was accompanied by District Fund officers and other senior officials of the department.

During the visit she took stock of the the functioning of district fund offices in both districts. On the occasion officers gave a detailed report about the activities and functioning of the district.

Chib appreciated the working of the department and stressed on timely dispersal of schedules and other documents so that pensioners and other employees doesn’t suffer. She urged the officers to organise special camps in various areas of the district in order to dispose several cases of the people at their doorsteps.

Chib said the governance very the years has improved so much so that bureaucracy reaches grassroots level to resolve people’s grievances at their doorsteps. She said officers should visit the people in their localities instead of people visiting the offices.

She also interacted with the visitors including pensioners and took the feedback of services being provided by the office.

After the review meeting the employees of both the districts interacted with the Joint Director and apprised her about the problems being faced by them. She gave a patient hearing to them and assured that she will communicate the issues to the higher ups for speedy redressal.
