Srinagar, Nov 03: The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly will convene on Monday (November 4) at 10:30 A.M. for a crucial session that includes the election of the Assembly Speaker.
Sources told Kashmir Despatch that Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Cooperatives, and Election, Javid Ahmed Dar, will move a motion proposing Advocate Abdul Rahim Rather as the Speaker candidate.
This motion will be seconded by Member Arjun Singh Raju.
The session will also feature an address by the Lieutenant Governor, scheduled for 11:30 A.M.
