Srinagar: Ace Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar stated that the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir is emerging as the “Film Paradise of India.”

The popular Bollywood director, after shooting his recent movie  ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ in Kashmir as per Kashmir Despatch, thanked the people of Kashmir for the love he received during his time in the valley.

In a video message, the Bollywood director thanked all the people—the LG, the authorities, the police, and generally everybody. He said coming back to Kashmir after 11 years has been so special for me with the love and support received from the people.
He also wishes for more movies to be shot every year in Kashmir.

Talking about his upcoming project, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ was earlier set to release on April 28, 2023. However, the movie will now release on July 28th of this year.

Apart from Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ also stars Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, and Dharmendra in pivotal roles.

Pertinently, last year Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha launched a new film policy at a star-studded event in the presence of actor Amir Khan and filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani at SKICC, to give a new lease of hope and to attract the industry people back towards Kashmir.
