Srinagar, June 10 : The High Court of Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh on Wednesday ordered the promotion of sixteen officials of the administration cadre, while Haroon Rashid Bhat was promoted as Registrar.
According to an order a copy , consequent upon the approval of the Chief Justice to the recommendations of the Committee for Appointment and Promotion of Officials and Officers of the High Court Staff, the promotions of the Officers and Officials of the Administration cadre are hereby effected
The order stated that the representation submitted by Sansar Chand, Additional Registrar (Adm) seeking promotion as Registrar ahead of Haroon Rashid Bhat is rejected as being devoid of merit.
It stated that Haroon Rashid Bhat, Additional Registrar (Adm) is temporarily promoted as Registrar in the Level-13A, in relaxation of qualification, against the post fallen vacant due to promotion of Azad Ahmad Wani.
As per order all the promotees shall continue to work at their present place of postings.
It added that the adjustment and transfer orders in respect of Gazetted staff shall be made shortly.
“The further posting of the non-gazetted staff shall be made by the respective Registrar Judicials in due course,” it said.
