SRINAGAR, May 20: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Wednesday felicitated people on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Qadr, the holy and blessed night, during which the Holy Quran was revealed.
In a statement issued here, Bukhari appealed people to pray wholeheartedly during this night for peace, prosperity, brotherhood and an end to the distressing situation created by deadly Coronavirus in the world.
He said that the holy night in which Almighty Allah revealed the Glorious Qu’ran to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) for the guidance of mankind, provides a golden opportunity to the people to seek his mercy and blessings.
“I pray to God to make this holy night a harbinger for peace, progress and end to the miseries caused to the people due to COVID-19. May this auspicious occasion further strengthen the bonds of communal amity and brotherhood in Jammu and Kashmir,” Bukhari prayed.
