The Managing Director of JKSRTC (Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation) on Monday visited various offices of JKRTC in the Kashmir Division.
During the visit, the managing director noticed that some employees were absent from their legitimate duties. As a result, the managing director has instructed the directors to take appropriate action against these absentees.
In addition, the managing director, along with the general managers, conducted surprise checks on JKRTC buses operating in Srinagar, Ananthnag, Srinagar-Baramulla, and Srinagar-Tangmarg routes.
During the checks, it was found that several passengers were traveling without tickets. In response, the managing director has directed the general managers to take drastic action against the erring conductors in accordance with the corporation service conduct rules.
The managing director of JKRTC has also emphasized to all general managers that this exercise should continue in the future.
This shows the commitment of JKRTC to ensuring efficiency, discipline, and fairness in their operations.
